L3800 I.E.T. Signal Module![]() |
![]() | The L3800 Signal Module is designed to accept up to eight miniature I.E.T. (Inductive Electronic Transducer) probes, and provide a standard DC voltage output which can interface to almost any electronic device, including computer gaging systems, PLC's, etc. The I.E.T. is a minerature inductive probe, typically no larger than 5 mm x 5mm x 15mm (0.2" x 0.2" x 0.6"). It can be incorporated into fixture designs where a standard LVDT probe would be too large to be used. Additionally, it can be used in many fixture designs as an alternative to air gaging, due to the small space requirements. Measurement ranges are typically +/- 200 microns (+/- 0.008"), with linear deviation less than +/- 0.000010". It is typically installed into a milled pocket in the fixture, which allows the body of the probe to remain flush with the gage. |
Features: - Accepts up to 8, I.E.T. probes - Probes connect to the unit via eight individual 6-Pin DIN receptacles, located on the front panel. - Probe excitation is nominally 50K Hz, 0.707 VRms. - Output voltage is nominally +/- 5 Vdc for +/- 200 microns (+/- 0.0080). - Output connection is via a single 15-pin, subminiature D connector located on the rear of the unit. A matching output cable is available as a separate item (Order # LC 1750 ). - Power Supply: The unit requires a +/- 12 Vdc power supply. Order Lance Instruments Item LD0741. - Case Dimensions: 13.5" L x 5" D x 2" H. |
